Thursday June 14, 2018 at 7:00 pm, This is the final chapter of our historical saga covering the merger of the Unitarian and Universalist denominations to the present.  Among other things we will examine the factors that made the merger of the two quite different movements possible, Sophia Fahs and the development of liberal religious education including the “Our Whole Lives” curriculum, our wrenching struggle over black empowerment between 1967-70 (and today), tensions over use of traditional faith language, and the overall nature of liberal religion in the modern age.  Again, the class will be based on a video series titled “Our Long Strange Trip.”
