Rev. Bill’s Thursday Seminar – May 10

UU History in Depth, Part 5:  “Evolution, 1861-1960”.
Thursday May 10, 2018 at 7:00 pm

This is the story of the continual interplay and conflict between advocates for new ideas (e.g., evolution science, the social gospel, humanism, anti-institutionalism, universal religion) and guardians of deeply held ideas, values, and ways of doing things.  This session also highlights Unitarian and Universalist women of the 19th century who worked in their time to make the world a better place, Again, the class will be based on a video series titled Our Long Strange Trip.

As usual Bill invites you to come at 6:30 to share a vegetarian pizza so long as it lasts.
