Building Your Own Theology

Building Your Own Theology, An Adult Program at KVUUC led by Rev. Bill Graves

First Session:  Thurs. April 13, at 7:00pm  (As usual Bill invites you to come at 6:30 to share a vegetarian pizza so long as it lasts)

This is a workshop that is planned to extend to the end of July.  We now have sufficient participants signed–up so that a meaningful group experience is possible.

There is room for more.  Please let Bill know if you are interested or have questions (wcgraves@whidbey.com).

Building Your Own Theology is a systematic, disciplined and group process assisting participants to develop credos, or statements of individual beliefs. This classic curriculum designed by Rev. Richard Gilbert discusses all the important questions of religion from a UU perspective, allowing each student to come to their own understanding of what makes sense and works. It’s a wonderful way to get to know other KVUUC’ers and to begin to explore your own faith.

We will use the “Building Your Own Theology, Vol. I”, curriculum.  Some copies are available in the KVUUC library.  Donations to cover their cost will be accepted but is not required.  It is recommended that participants have their own copy of the curriculum and do assigned readings in advance.  For the session on April 13 we will cover the Introduction and Chapter 1.
