The Commission on Social Witness project on  Escalating Economic Inequality was adopted. This is designed to engage Unitarian Universalist congregations in an ongoing process of study, action and reflection on pressing social issues so that we can be effective prophetic voices in the public sphere. This issue has been in-progress since 2014. Approval followed a greater than 2/3 vote. Now congregations and UUA staff conduct a year of implementation and action. Here is the Esculating Inequality Study Guide.
