Approaches to Faith: Naturalism with Rev. Bill Graves. A pizza (1/2 vegan) will be available to share starting at 6:30pm.

This will be the fourth and final class covering four faith systems that find significant resonance within UU circles. In May we touched on Theism. In June and July we delved into Humanism. In September we considered Mysticism. Now we shall have a look at Naturalism, which has to do with connecting to the larger wholeness of being through experiences of the natural world. We will pay particular attention to expressions of naturalism found in the prose and poetry of Francis of Assisi, Emerson, Thoreau, John Muir and Thomas Merton.

This should be a fun conversation!
